Peoples Security Bank EITC Contribution
April 18, 2018
The East Penn School District Education Foundation announces a contribution from Peoples Security Bank to the East Penn School District through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program. Peoples Security Bank Executive Vice President, Neal Koplin, presented a donation to Foundation President, Salvatore Verrastro during a presentation on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Peoples Security Bank.
The EPSD Education Foundation supports programs that enrich, extend and deepen the educational experiences of East Penn School District students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Programs in these areas are revolutionary in developing critical thinking, creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills - the tools students will need to live well and successfully in the East Penn Community.
This generous contribution will empower students to adopt a problem-solving mindset and make the leap from dreamers to doers. EITC program courses engage students in compelling, real-world challenges that help them become better collaborators, thinkers and artists. Students take from this the knowledge and skills they will use in high school and for the rest of their lives, on any career path they take.
