2018 Career Exploration Fair Exhibitor Information

The EPSD Education Foundation along with the Emmaus High School Counseling Department would like to extend an invitation for you to join us and share your career experience at our upcoming inaugural 2018 Career Fair. This event is open to ALL Lehigh Valley 5th-12th grade students and families. This is a great opportunity for students to learn from a local professional such as yourself.
Your time commitment would be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018. A registration fee of $50.00 includes a 6ft table and informal exhibitor dinner beginning at 4:00pm.
During your time with local students and their families, we ask that you discuss the path that led to your current position including such things as your education, the reasons you chose this field, what it takes to be successful in your field as well as the pros and cons involved.

Career Fair Management
EPSD Education Foundation’s Career Fair is hosted and coordinated by the EPSD Education Foundation along with Emmaus High School Guidance Department. The fair committee reserves the right to make rules and regulations as necessary to ensure the success of the fair.
Registration
*Registration fee of $50.00 shall be paid in full on or before August 31, 2018. Registration closes on August 31, 2018.
There is a limit of 2 representatives per table with event registration fee. A fee of $25 will be charged for approved additional representatives.
Event Sponsorship Opportunities shall be paid in full on or before May 1, 2018.
*Registration fee is refundable ONLY if registration is cancelled by August 31, 2018
*Sponsorship fees are non refundable after May 1, 2018
*Event Sponsor fee shall be paid in full on or before May 1, 2018
Installation and Removal of Exhibits
Set up begins at 3:30 pm and shall be completed by 5:45pm.
All exhibits must remain in place until after the official closing of the event at 8:00 pm.
Use of Space
Exhibitor will be provided one 6' table and two chairs in approximately 10' (width) of space. Exhibitor should note on registration form the type of display (i.e. table-top, floor display, etc) All aisles must be kept clear of exhibit material.
Nails, tacks, screws, or tape may not be used on the building walls or pillars. All Exhibitors are asked to work behind their table.
Access to electricity is limited and must be requested at time of registration. You will be notified if that request can not be fulfilled. The fair committee recommends you bring your own extension cords, power strips, and equipment.
Personal Information
Exhibitors are prohibited from collecting student contact information. Exhibitors MAY collect parent contact information.
Liability and Insurance
The EPSD Education Foundation and East Penn School District shall not be responsible for the loss, theft or damage of or to the property of the Exhibitor. Exhibitor waives any claim against the EPSD Education Foundation, and the East Penn School District and its employees for liability, loss or damage to the Exhibitor’s property.
